Here we are again, my friends. This will be a short and sweet post.
Not much to report! As usual, this has been a month full of absolute nuttiness. I thank everyone for their continuing patience during this wild year. I’ve been dealing with a strange/intense vertigo that is brought on by staring at my computer screen. This is a big reason (besides life’s obstacles) for why my writing pace has taken a sudden hit. I share this information in the hopes that others who may have been dealing with a similar issue might offer advice.
Despite it all, I’ve kept up with graphic design commissions! It’s been a lot of fun. If you’d like to see my portfolio, click here. I really love reading peoples’ stories and coming up with a way to visually represent a narrative.
The Future
How to be Loved by the Moon and The Golden Fleece are two (shorter?) trilogies that I will be releasing April through June. I’m going to try write them first so that I can release them without too much pressure. I’m particularly excited to release the latter. It’s gritty, but romantic. If you’ve been on this ride with me long enough, I imagine you’re already aware of how much I enjoy a little blood in my tales.
I’m really pushing to end ATCE, I didn’t want to rush the episodes out because of how much fun I had writing them! I’ll drop a couple posts this week and see where that takes us.
Anyway, I’d like to thank you once again for your ongoing patience. I’m excited to get through this busy stage in my life and create more time for you guys and my stories.
Kindly,
M.E. Beckley
Sorry to hear about the vertigo! I’ve had that before (though not caused by screens in my case), hang in there!
Looking forward to the new work! And agree, i need to wear my blue blocking gogs. It helps a lot! Try it.
